The Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus is situated in ii dynamic cities full of opportunities at the edge of Washington, D.C., and it is easily attainable by public transit. Established on this site in 1950, this cosmopolitan campus is dwelling house to the College's nationally recognized health sciences and visual arts programs.

Each semester at Montgomery College'due south Takoma Park/Silver Leap Campus, we leverage cognition to drive inclusivity, create meaningful social change, and provide life changing opportunities to our various student body. Our defended faculty bring expertise and offer quality instruction in over 100 different disciplines to more than than 7,800 students from over 140 countries. At Takoma Park/Argent Spring, we meet our students where they are and set up them well for transfer and meaningful employment. We offer a broad diversity of learning-centered educational opportunities that affirm our delivery to ensuring student admission, retention, and success.

In 2020, work began on a new state-of-the-fine art STEM facility. The Catherine and Isiah Leggett Math and Science Building will be an essential improver to our campus that will allow students to take Stem courses with world-class equipment and support. MC faculty, staff, and students accept devoted endless hours planning and advocating to brand this absolute necessity a reality, and we will continue to do so to ensure the edifice is the best facility possible.

The E Garage (EG) provides parking for Montgomery College students, employees, and visitors on the E Campus. The Catherine F. Scott Eatables (CM) includes classrooms, a lecture hall, the Academic Success Center, a food pantry, the Bliss Exhibition Hall, briefing rooms, and offices.

The Charlene R. Nunley Student Services Center (ST) houses the Campus Welcome center (Raptor Central), Office of Admissions and Records, the International Pupil Coordinator's Office, the Counseling Center, the Cess Centre, the Office of Student Financial Aid, the Campus bookstore (which has a café), the Office of Student Life, the Cashier'due south Office, the deli, the mailroom, the Office of Public Safety (open 24 hours a 24-hour interval), computer-equipped classrooms, open up labs, and the Vice President and Provost'southward Office.

The Cultural Arts Center (CU) is dwelling house to two beautiful state-of-the-art theatre spaces; a 500 seat multipurpose proscenium theatre and a 116 seat modified thrust studio theatre. The CAC also houses the George and Ruth Tretter Dance Studio, featuring floor to ceiling windows overlooking Georgia Artery, a film-editing lab, a piano lab, classrooms and offices. MC's Cultural Arts Center is dedicated to creating radically inclusive communities through the intersection of art and the man feel. The CAC presents cross genre programming focused on representing the diverse interests of our campus and our community.

The Health Sciences Heart (HC) provides state-of-the-art wellness sciences classrooms, laboratories, nursing simulation labs, and other facilities. It also houses a customs wellness center operated by Holy Cantankerous Hospital that offers a valuable learning feel for nursing students.

The Mathematics Pavilion (MP) contains classrooms, one of two Campus Mathematics Learning  Centers, and math faculty offices.

The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Arts Center (CF) houses classrooms, fine art studios, an fine art gallery, kinesthesia offices, and community use studios. Information technology too houses the Refugee Training Centre, the ADN to BSN Pathway Office (which provides resources for nursing students in their academic journey equally they work toward transferring to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or advanced degree), and Workforce Development & Standing Education classrooms and offices.

The IRJC provides a meeting area where students can talk over social justice bug; an academic space where kinesthesia can support students; a food pantry and clothing library; and customs engagement and so students can connect with volunteer opportunities and community support organizations.

The Resources Center (RC) houses the library, classrooms, kinesthesia offices, and the Writing, Reading, and Language Center, and Student Employment Services.

The Science North Building (SN) houses chemical science, technology, biology, and physics laboratories, a lecture hall and classrooms, the Math/Science Learning Eye, and faculty offices.

Directions to the Takoma Park/Argent Spring Campus

By Machine: Take I-495 Westward to Get out 31 or East to Exit 31B, Georgia Avenue Southward (Route 97). Continue southward on Georgia Avenue by the Colesville Road (Route 29) intersection. Following the signs for Montgomery Higher, plough left (Eastward) on Sligo Artery. Follow Sligo Avenue to Fenton Street; turn right. Go along (southbound) on Fenton Street through the traffic calorie-free at Philadelphia Avenue (Road 410). The E Garage is just alee on your right, and the campus itself begins 1 block farther at New York Avenue and Fenton Street. The Due west Garage is located off Georgia Avenue on Jesup Blair Bulldoze.
